We had a proper tropical rain here today... and trust me, I know how a tropical rain looks like.

Well, if it feels like a solid wall of water pouring down the sky - then we had one too. Several times. Like - right now at the moment.

Morning :-)

Morning :)

Where're ya going, Kiy ?

Well - it rained very slightly for a while yesterday. Still no pouring down here at all. This summer is a mess - dry and cold.

Morning :)

Garda-lake, again. Last year it was too hot to see much more than the inside of the lake... of course this time it looks as if it might be too wet. Mmmhm.
And I'd very, very happily send all that rain over to you. I'm getting depressed just looking out of the window :(

Ah, I see. Have a nice trip then. :) (<- still jealous as she can't go into own holidays)

Back from work-trip (EWN .. Energy Plant North, the old Atom-energy plant in Lubmin. It was really interesting to look into an empty reactor).

Thank you :-)
Yes, life feels alright at the moment - getting out of the rain and being able to sleep in, plus good food.

Hmmm. Hmmm.

I still wonder why it's so cold up here. The sun is roasting you, sure, but the air is not really summer-like. They say it's going to be 35°C later this week though. I won't believe it, 'til I see it.

Well, well... what is the highest temp outside, typically, at this time of the year? You know, you are a bit up north...

Well, we do have around 30 over here at the moment and that's average. But I'm in Italy right now - that's usually a bit warmer than the Baltic Sea area ;-)

@Kiy: :oops: ;)

@boss: Well - that really depends. In a 'usual' summer I would say the temperature is about 20/21°!C in average. If it's a hot summer you can get like 35/36°C during the day (in the shadow of course), during a cold summer (like 2 years ago) the maximum temperature during the day is about 16/17°C (without wind) . The water is 17/18°C - usually, if it was very hot and sunny for two to three weeks the water temperature ca go up to 20/21°C, which is really warm.

*sneaking in after a few das of crashed interwebz*
Putting the router into a tin can right outside in the sun in a hot Italian Summer leaves a lot of room for improvement, I'd say...
