Re: The ground level - in and out
Afternoon
Gee - one evening of carnival celebration, followed by a short night's sleep, a hairdresser's appointment, some grocery shopping and today trying (it failed - the plane didn't start) to drop someone off at the airport and I'm completely done in

@Elyris: Yeah, it was busy... but I like that carnival stuff, so it was fun; just with everything else I'm really tired now.
@Flighter: A friend of mine living in the same town has to go to a trade fair in San Francisco, so I offered to drive him along instead throwing money at a taxi. Unfortunately the plane had a too close encounter with a bird and that kinda killed the engine. Flight got canceled as they couldn't repair the whole thing in time.

The airplane was that bird's last shadow. Thank you for flying Toruk Airlines.
And I finally remembered to check in when I show up! Although the time zones are working against me.

Eh, depending on the type of the plane (and the engine), airport where it happened, etc... it coudl take a couple of days to fix it, tune it, check, check again etc...
@nawm: Good idea. If I ever get filthy rich and decide to open an airline, I hope it would not be considered a copyright infrigment if I name it TORUK Airlines.

Re: The ground level - in and out
You'd have to paint the planes with a really cool colour scheme, but just don't use the tag line "Last shadow you'll ever see". It doesn't instill customer confidence in the airline.
Time for me to sign out.
Later flighter!

Re: The ground level - in and out
Nope, it was an actual plane... to be honest, I rather think that said plane encountered Toruk than the other way round
But "Toruk Airlines" does have a certain ring to it. I'd fly with them.
Morning
