Ah - I don't know if I'll go to the christmas market this year - too much of a 'fair' (Jahrmarkt) there. I don't liek that.

Well, back at home, Christmas Market is perfect time for shopping, but only if you REALLY need particular items (related to Christmas and New Year). But for all other sorts of items (like everyday clothing) prices are sometimes even higher (people tend to ignore that fact, out of excitement).

Actually we just had a bit of mulled wine with a rum-soaked sugarloaf lit above it (Feuerzangenbowle, definitely had to look up that one in the dictionary ), some grilled sausage and a few sweets, a trip on a historical merry-go-round and some chatting.
