Seems interesting, but I don't know where I will be in my life by the time that opens to the public. A couple of years is a long way off, so that's plenty of time to plan. If I am able to go, I'd like to participate in a potential meet up at this place.

We should plan a meet-up or get-together there after it opens!!
I only live about 3 hours from Disney and would be happy to look into discounts, etc...
Organization is my thing.
Anyone interested - even tho it's still a ways off ??
Kaltxi Lrrtoktu!
Maybe you can get in contact with the AvatarMeet planning committee...you can go to the AvatarMeet website (www.avatarmeet.com) and send them a message that you could help with planning a meetup at the Disney "Avatar Land" after it opens. Just a suggestion.

I've seen so many amazing things in that video that I can't believe they're really bringing to life! I WANT! Boat trips through a bioluminescent jungle? Moss that glows when you walk on it? An Ikran flight simulator? *drools*
I'm gonna live there. They won't be able to get me out of that park!
Maybe if Ato and I wear our Avatar prosthetics we can blend in and hide in there when the park closes.
EPCOT center, MGM Studios, etc, was mind blowing 25 years ago when I was last at Disney, so I can't even begin to imagine what kind of technology they've got up their sleeve for bringing Pandora to life! Damn, now the wait is going to seem even longer! I'm in for an opening day Avatar meet! Someone needs to get in touch with Jon Landau or someone at Disney to perhaps get Disney to host the Avatar meet as part of the promotion of the opening of Avatar Land.
When is this park scheduled to open? 2017? Argh, that's a long wait.
The positive thing is that I should be able to travel into the US and back by that time (visa wise).
That looks like its going to be so incredible. I will have to go at some point in my life.
It would be worth the money for any avatar fan. Hell I'd just like to see those models that they were standing around in person. Maybe I could give 'em some pointers.
And you know that Disney is probably going to have 10ft tall totally realistic animatronic Na'vi as part of the experience. It will be the next best thing to real life Na'vi.
Depends on what one would call 'paranormal' and 'misbehaviour'.
Looking back on how our (early, civilisation-unstained) ancestors did: the first will be handeled with the one or the other way (and you'll learn to live with it) and for the second: the worst punishment was to be casted out from the clan and having to survive on your own, but one wouldn't find such a large bandwidth of 'misbehaving' like today (the whole natural, social structure was obvioulsy much healthier and 'rules' - usually - came out of a real need for ALL and not due to making bad behaviour 'legal' for few like today).
