Yes, a pup for the family!

We picked it today. Previous owner claims it is 3 months old, but judging by his size, it is more likely 5 or so months. Anyway, he didn't really enjoy the bath he got, but now I am his best friend, since I was the first to give him food and water, and the first to pet him

This one is a mix between Shar Pei mother and some (suspected) huge black dog from the neighbourhood. It is already quite big at only 3 and a half months, so his vet says he will be huge at the age of 2

Oh, by the way, I am going on a3 days trip... Serbia-Croatia-Slovenia-Italy-France and back (Final destination near Lyon, France)... 1300 km each way. I will be driving at least one half of the trip. Wish me luck, good weather and not too many cops on the road

From next Tuesday on I have to go to a small town near Hannover for work. They told me there won't be any internet available besides the workplace and as I know how weird things are here at work (like not being able to check into my gmx e-mail account, because it's 'unsafe') and not being able to say how things will go and look there anyway I might just go missing for over two weeks. With any luck I'll be back late on the 28th.
I hope the weather will hold (and did I mention that I 1st: never was away from home for so long? 2nd: never was alone for so long? 3rd: never drove such a huge distance alone? - I am so not looking forward to this).

Well - I don't have a smartphone (and do not intend to get one) and the surfstick I tried once never really worked, so I see it as just too much 'work' fot what will not come out of it.

The town is called Mariensee (a part of Neustadt, although it's a few km away). No supermarket, one bakery.
I'll be staying in the official guesthouse (so at least it's for free) - so one could start to wonder why they're seemingly no even able to install a wifi. I've also been told to bring my own dishes as "the kitchen isn't very clean". Oh yeah
