While Xa was gathering and preparing the Nantang rescue squad he said that the Palulukan should be still around somewhere. Considering the allover negligence of the place I figured no one took care of ... cleaning up. And now Xa is more or less half way through getting it back on track ... and trying to teach me the inportance of poop.

No one is ever around when I log in from work. Darned time zones.

They did a test of a new update to the Emergency Warning System in Canada that is supposed to send a beeping alarm and warning message over every radio frequency and to every cell phone across Canada. It didn't work. Quebec didn't get any warnings at all (we don't care about Quebec anyway ) and the phones didn't ring.

Our warning system is used mostly for severe weather alerts anyway, which are usually localized and not national. If the weather is bad enough that you have to warn everyone in the whole country, you're probably pretty much screwed anyway.

It's 'gentlemens day' today - already saw a group in full suits (waistcoat, walking stick, bowler hat, flower in the buttonhole) waling by. The weather is still very fine (sunny and unusually warm) and the day rather you. It's going to get loud outside today.
