You already got snow?
Here it's only storm and a few snowflakes mixed into the rain. But I'll spent the weekend in the Westerwald and there it's said to be frightful indeed. That's gonna be fuuuuuun getting there. I've spent some money on chains for my tires, the first time in more than 30 years of driving. Huh.

We already had snow two days ago and this morning it sowed for a few hours (gave about 10cm of snow). It's also been quite cold.

Back from very snowy and very windy Westerwald. It was frickin cold, but also nice... there's nothing to keep you warm in the snow than a good snowball battle

Snowball battles only always made me feel even colder and I actually hated them (except for the short time of my life when I was very little and only my family was around) - I would always be the main target of everyone else and get soaped (which made me feel even colder).
I really like the sound that fresh snow makes when you walk through though. I only wish I wouldn't freeze as much.

Not a good day for Technology here: First my blinker was kind of frozen, then my laptop needed three tries and 20 minutes to fire up and on top the next bathroom is closed due to repairs.
I wanna go home again.

Don't ask me - esp. when the cats decided to go rampaging each other regularly again about three days ago.
Hissing and screaming and things being thrown ine the middle of the night and just now - it's like they always know when I am about to get something to eat. I swear I haven't eaten in a calm manner in days.

Lock them in the basement for the night... if I remember well, you do have a basement.

I have a 'basement' that is on the same level as the entry hall of building. It is nothing but a small shed thing planks, it surely isn't heated and it is one os many shacks of the same kind in a celler room where all the flats in this house have one of those. I live a Beubaublock - it's not really this kind of basement.

That won't work for the kittens...

It's cold and raining - the traffic looks accordingly.

Mrnnnnng... Hm, it's cold. We insulated the house in October, 6cm of insulation material on the outside. It is still cold in the morning, but i can imagine how cold it would be if we did not add insulation I miss Africa. If you feel cold, you just switch off your airconditioning
