Didn't know your area was that bad... over here it's been today and then silence until somewhere end of January or so.
On the other hand - I kinda like the whole thing, at least the part about dressing up as something. Been to a costume party last weekend, but that's been more a late Halloween event. It WAS a chance to include a bit of Na'vi-ness though

It's not the dressing up - it's the way things are in this country in general- Rummstata and Schunkeln and stuff ... I am allergic to that.
It's not really that bad over here, but I was kind of shocked to wittness an open Pferdekutsche containing elderly slightly drunk people wearing those hats and bad wigs at 11 am in the town.

Open horse carriage? Yesterday??? Well, if your weather was anything like over here those guys have been rained on very, very heavily
