Morning :)

Exactly- I got a free day on Friday. It'll be awkward anyway. My contract at works will run out on June 30th and as it is 'public services' I have to take all my remaining free days. I got 26,5 days left and June only has 22 working days. .... Oi

Considering what is left to do this isn't as good as it sounds. For example: next week I will have to go on a buiseness trip (again), although I really hoped I wouldn#t have to. And then on the last monday of May I have to give a talk at the weekly seminar in the house about my results and stuff. I am really not all too eager for any of this.

Yepp, that's been it :)
Back now, slightly sunburned (from breaking down the camp in the late morning/early midday sun), my muscles hurt like hell - haven't been walking that much in like ages, but it definitely was a lot of fun!

But... I wouldn't need this Monday morning. Ugh.

Morning anyway :)

@Elyris

I didn't fill the bed with roots and clay. I had to dig that out :oh:

Finally arrived in the backwoods (again). The drive to here was quite a mess - traffic jams, polica control and I couldn't even take the usual break (and get that Nutella Latte from McCafè). Then I had to work directly after arriving and when unpacking my stuff about half an hour ago surely all my food was half-molten. Did I mention that it is quite hot and stale in here?
I really hate having to do such stuff in summer. Winter is better for buiseness trips (also feels less like wasting lifetime).

@Kiy: Oh and hey :) What does one do on such an occasion? I never came ot really get the 'program' of it. But nice you had fun.

@Xa: Ah, I see. :geek: (Reminds me of my time at University though.)

There are several different types of those events. This one was one of the "just for fun" atmospherical meetings - background-story was that one of the "local nobility" decided to start a big tournament (knights sitting on big wooden horses that were pushed and pulled by a lot of strong people - hilarious!), together with a market and several other games.

So a lot of different groups came there either to join in the competition or the games (our group even won one of the competitions), trade, talk to other people... it was really relaxed and I think a good way for me to get my feet wet.
