Yeah... although I'm not sure yet about the "day" thing... it's depressingly dark outside.

Well- not helping when it's everely cloudy.
Though it's sunny here today we had such dark days last week too. It's not unusual around that time of the year.

Nope, it's not. There are reasons I don't like winter very much ;-)
At least it doesn't keep my squirrel from showing up

On the other hand: I wouldn't want to live wihtout the seasons - but it would be nice if it were longer warm than cold during a year. But, oh well.
You have a squirrell?

Back home now... ugh, what a thing to be invited to a New Year's Eve party with sleepover and waking up with no, not a hangover, but a major case of a cold. Spent all time on the couch yesterday and still feel as if someone has chewed me through and spit me out again.

Seriously? Snow? Wow - here it's still grey, rainy, the perfect weather to stay inside.

Gee, this reminds me of some years past. I was heading east in Missouri on I-44 in a heavy snow storm. I had to spend the night at a Super 8 motel. The next morning, the brakes on the truck and trailer would not release. Ended up spending an extra night at the motel and had to call in a heavy wrecker to yank the truck out of the ice.

Gee, seems I'm kinda living in a heated place or something... nothing even remotely resembling cold or frost.
(Called in sick today - what a way to start a working year)
