Morning :)

Called in sick today and the doc officially wrote me ill for the week. Now if I manage to get those datatable ready and send it over ....

On another note: Yesterday was moms birthday, so the whole family was there. Also the chair that usually standt above the LAN router wasn't there as we had to use it. Things got messy when my grandpa (78 years, 120 kg) stepped on the cable that connects the router to the main ... and broke it.
Luckily enough it could be 'reattached' in a way that things still seem to work more or less. Nonetheless we contacted the contractor and ordered a new cable - I can't use being cut off from interwebs and phone over the holidays.

I hope you're all doing well so far.

@Elyris: Yeah, better get a new cable - being offline over the holidays just cause something IS broken would suck.

I'd check out before what kind of shows are running here. Personally at the moment I'm thinking about Amazon Prime - but anything is better than free TV as it is now.

Hmmm - I got something against Amazon.
I simply want ot watch some movies that won't come in TV anywhere near and maybe get a glimpse of some series.
They state that the first month is free anyways, you can go every month if you like and as far as I could see it the price is quite reasonable.
So i was thinking about giving it a try.

But yes, to the usual TV program. Even now around christmas it's a mess.

Giving it a try won't hurt, especially if you can exit whenever you want.

Mouse: I actually have no idea. It's been a 15-Euro mouse and a rather old and used one as well... but last Thursday it was still on my desk, this morning it was gone. It's totally confusing - and annoying, as I have to buy a new one. Used the replacement mouse I have stored there, but this one ain't working completely right anymore, so everything was a bit uncomfortable today.

Christmas: More or less. There are a few family activities, on Sunday I'm gonna have several people here for dinner - but I have the time "between the years" off - tomorrow's my last work day for the year.
