Oh-je doesn't sound good.

I can also feel the fear of next week rising insode again. But what can I do? Life feels like jail.

At least this project will be over in the middle of next week - and then I'll have a 10 day vacation. And THEN start that new jobrole - hopefully things are gonna get a bit better from then on or I don't know how to survive those 17 years I still have to work.

New jobrole?

Yepp, going on vacation from next Friday on... a week at the sea, to get my head free again.

And I'm slightly switching my jobrole, yeah. Same team, same manager, but less of what I don't like at my current job and a lot more of what I DO like - basically doing graphics.

Back from a family celebration. My cousin was there with his little son, like 11 months old - that little guy is a complete cutie

Ah, I see I wish I could do this, I wish I had such a chance, I wish that would be me.

Currently I feel like being slowly crushed.

Thank Eywa, it's over for now... project finished and now off for eleven whole days.
There were moments I didn't think I'd make it to now.

Back home.

Eleven days? I'm a bit jealous, I admit. Got a day-long rethorik seminar tomorrow (means: I have to give a short talk, will be filmed doing that and then someone tells me what is all wrong). I'm less than hyped about this.

Ugh... that sucks. I've been there, done that. Twice. Watching oneself in that vid is awful. At my first try (during an education after university) I was that nervous that I was talking a mile a minute... sounded like Mickey Mouse on speed Body language was awkward too.
The second try, after several years at job, wasn't much better. At least I had the chance to talk about a "favourite subject" of mine and not a business subject. And we had the chance to bring along things that would make the speech more interesting. So I was talking about fantasy roleplaying and showed up in my market outfit. Complete with leather jerkin and dagger. Eh - having a dagger at your belt does miracles for self esteem.

And still my voice was way too high and breathless and the body language awkward. But - and that's the bright side of it - in both courses the other people were quite as awkward and breathless as me.

I hope the pain will be short at least. I have no clue what to expect after all. Wish me luck.

(Also annoying in this case: The whole thing will go until 4:30 in the evening, whichi s quite late fo a friday in my eyes.)

Let me say . .. : awkward.
The guy was just the kind of short, thin, mid-thirty, overenthusiastic 'motivationalist' I expected. we were few at leat. I had to make my presentation as the last (in the afternoon as we did a lot of 'games' in the morning). They said I should read Hörbücher because my voice is so nice and he said he felt nearly intimidated by me. In both cases : What the flying fck ?????? never heard first nor latter.
Besides this is was really cold in the room , so I was freezing the whole darn day.
