Morning - throat still soar, work today, more work next week and the following week vacation ... I don't feel all too enthusiastic today.

Hi Lrr - yeah, I'm really enjoying it here - it's maybe a bit hot, but the food is great, the people nice and there's lots to see around here.
Elyris: Ack, sore throat sucks - but at least you'll be through with it before the vacation starts

Monday. Weather looks rather bad (not good when you want to probe bees), cold is in full swing (not good when you're stuck under a beekeeper jacket and can't use the so much needed tissue).

Well .. I'll be on my way ina little more than an hour ... in rain and thunderstorm ... not being able to go swimming the whole week.

Arrived.
The house is GREAT, the weather is nice and the trip here went really smooth. No bigger confusion, no problems.

Yesterday, in the city centre, it was +43. My car which was parked under the Sun for 90 minutes measured... +51. It took the air-conditioning almost 30 minutes to bring it to a pleasant level...

Over here it's something about 22 and slightly raining - actually I'm glad for it, after 3 weeks straight of temperatures high above the 30s (feeling like in the 40s) I'm kinda glad to catch my breath for a while.
flighter, I hear ya... there's a reason that I didn't do as much sightseeing in my vacation as I thought of. With those temperatures and the car in the sun, that's insane.
