What sort of milk do Na'vi consume?

Morning
*waves at Bogo and hands over ice bucket - for the feet this time*
@flighter: No idea if they have any milk at all. The only cow-like animals I've seen weren't domesticated - and I doubt that Tapirus or Pa'li give milk, at least not for anyone else but their own young.

Interesting question Flighter....I can not find any reference to the Na'vi drinking anything like milk. I will assume, and it is an assumption, that Na'vi mothers provide for their babies until old enough to have other liquids and some soft solids. In the movie we saw a number of small children, but I don't remember any actual tiny babies unless they were in a sling being carried by one of their parents. To keep the movie rating, I doubt they would be able to show a nursing mother.
Kiy, I agree on not seeing any domesticated animals that would provide any milk.
I just had a thought, wasn't there a mother carrying her baby after hometree fell, just when Neytiri turns back to look....I'll have to watch that part again.

Throws a snowball at Lrr.

Which melts in mid air.
It seems we lost someone. Elyris went to drink some milk and never came back.

Elyris was having technical problems which I have resolved, or at least I think I did. She acknowledged my feedback on that but didn't post after that.

I ... didn't write that post.
The last thing I wrote was that went to get some milk (I don't liek Kava anyway

).
@Lrr:
Why is showing a nursing mother 'immoral' when you can show people kissing like that? Doesn't make much sense to me (esp. when you'd keep it in the background or something).

Yepp, that's a baby there.
In my new place now, but stuck to reading and writing with my tablet - no internet yet.
Wondering: if Elyris didn't write that post - then who did?

I start wondering about hackers...

Morning all
Bogo: Thanks, I knew I remembered that scene - well I thought I did at least - getting old is hell.
It's not considered immoral, but just not for public consumption due to the 'breast exposure'. Idiot film and TV ratings

And what the ******* (put profanity of your choice!!!) is anybody's business if a mother feeds her baby that way?!?! They /could/should turn their heads the other way... it's not all that complicated.

And this while so called 'VIPs' practically shove their bodyparts in your face all the time.
It just doesn't make any sense.
