OK now this looks amusing enough (in the 'guilty pleasure' way)

trivia: I actually understoof a bit of what they were saying in the original and found the subs as a little sloppy in parts - that's weird, I can't speak dutch at all

I have been watching a number of movies produced in foreign countries, and some of them were very good. So far I have seen 2 Norwegian movies and 1 Irish movie that in my opinion are very good. Watch "The Wave". It's a Mother Nature Strikes Back type of movie. Not one of those unrealistic, mind-boggling, the hero saves the day type things that Hollywood puts out. If you thought Jaws was intense, this one is awe inspiring, I sure don't want to live there type of movie.

As for the Dutch movie. Crap, I want the lion for a pet. A mad dog might be somewhat frightening, but that lion would be down right terrifying. Great to go for a walk............In the Mall..... :muhaha: :muhaha: :muhaha: :muhaha: :muhaha:

And it's also a cat - cats are always nice :geek:

Yeah - I saw the trailer for that one ... still have to either figure out how to get my hands on it or wait 'til it's on TV (if this ever happens).

Besides "The Wave" (I admit I'm too chicken for that kind of movies, they always leave me scared and disturbed  ), what's the Dutch one? A mad lion?

Dunno. A free-roaming lion, that much is sure. The trailer doesn' really show how that came to be. (Not an entirely bad thing tho'.)
This surely won't be an AAA movie, but who cares - things can be simply entertaining from time to time.

Did anyone notice the size of the lion? It was the deluxe model, complete with anger issues. Plus, I gather the movie has some humorous sides as well. A 1 legged big game hunter in a high performance wheel chair?

Regardless, I want to see the movie. Unfortunately, some bird brain re-titled the movie into it's English translation. Now, if google Prey", You get all kinds links to movies titled "Prey" from as far back as 1977, and the most recent 2016 due out in December with Danny Trejo. Nothing about this movie. You have to google it by the Dutch name. There is even one that came out in 2007, about a woman her her 2 kids get trapped inside their car at a South African game reserve by hungry lions. Not Loco, just HUNGRY. Sound familiar? Maybe a crazed Saint Bernard would be better.

I found the IMDB page: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4291700/
And some other page about it - unfortunately it says that there's no plan for an US-Release: http://bloody-disgusting.com/movie/3391 ... ilm-prooi/

It's not my kind of movie, but the guy in the tank-wheelchair is kinda cool. Hey - don't we know it all? Never underestimate a guy in a wheelchair ;)

Nothing happening? Still? Well then I'll just go ahead (again):

This is actually a good read. I mean ... good for hear she learned a few things and started to actually use her brain and doubt and ask and reconsider now ... but ... how is it even possible that seemingly millions of people are brainwashed to such an extent - this is just dangerous and nothing else.
