Exactly. I've been moving two times in the last four years and every single time a lot of stuff just ended up either in the trash bin or in the hallway (was a custom in my last house - still usable things could be put there for others to decide if they wanted to have them).

But of course: Packing and moving suck big time!

Well, we were in this apartment for 30 years approx... maybe 32 years even. Great part of me growing up took place here, and for my brother as well. Nice moments, not so nice moments, a lot of memories. Packing is going better than expected. 6-7 more rounds between here and my mom's place and only furniture will remain. Then a truck and few strong guys to load and later on offload it and case will be closed.

Stuff that we don't need anymore will either go to charity (clothes) or to the dumpster or recycler's containers outside (plastic, carton etc).

Phew, 30 years of gathering stuff... yeah, I hear you there. Especially with the memories thing.

Pottery-market? Sounds great :)

Me, I'm back in from the umpteenth try to find a new bikini. Either they don't have them my size, or the ones my size look like something my grandma wouldn't wear cause it's too old-fashioned or it has those strange pads in the cups. I mean - if I want an armour, I'll go to the next medieval market and buy one - if I want to have swimwear I don't want padding that could fight off arrows and sword strokes

And yeah, I'd take the dancing lessons - everytime I hear such music my feet are itching and moving on their own but it probably looks like a drunk penguin cause I'd have no idea how to do it right

There's actually a dance called The Piper and the Penguin :geek:

I don't believe it would be that bad though - you danced much more professionally than I ever could before and you obviously got rythm. :) We had boys in the lesson that made you wonder how the were able to just walk forward every day when you saw them moving around.

@Swimsuit: Tell me about it :oh: I'm really in need of a new bathing suit, but my size is a problem (esp. my txim) and at the moment I'm quite tight with money.

Morning :)

The Piper and the Penguin? Now that starts some pictures in my head :hee:

Dancing: It's not the rhythm I'm afraid of, it's the coordination of all those little movements... what I've seen from Celtic dancind is kinda different from what I've done before.
Anyway, I know the kind of boys you're talking about... telling the difference between your left and your right foot can be rather difficult or even impossible for some people sometimes :hee:

Buying swimsuits: Yeah... no matter how you look at it, it usually just sucks.

Good Morning :)

Ah - you'll do fine. :D It's not nearly as crazy as Irish Stepdance or Highland Dancing. Much more modest and easy.

Hehe - even when I remeber how it was sometimes impossible for some people (we also had 3 girls all in all that had the same issues) to move forward by first doing step wit hthe right foot and hten a step with the left foot is astonishing.

I wish you luck - we can all need more of it, :oh:

Irish Stepdance... a sure way to get knots in your legs and feet :hee:

Oh, and your good wishes actually worked: There's been open Sunday here in a mall nearby. I just wanted to go there to buy two cards for an upcoming birthday and christening (and for a milk shake) and then the shop I've been in two weeks ago had redecorated and got new stuff: And one of those bikinis actually fit. I won't win an "crazy fashion award" with it, but it's a simple dark blue with white decorations (a bit marine style) and most of all: It fits! And no padding at all! YAY :D

You can say that again.

You know that it's Monday morning when your radio alarm wakes you up in the middle of a weird dream with some medic giving detailed instructions about how to do a tracheotomy in emergency situations.

Ugh.

I never watch Tatort. Was it in there? I thought it maybe was... no, scratch that. When I got kicked out of bed with things like that I don't think at all.

Morning ...

Ah ... you didn't? I didn't either, but in the news (on the net) it always seems like EVERYBODY in this country is, always. I don't get why, but it looks like that. Do you remember what he told you then? Might come in handy. :geek:

At least you didn't had to run for your life. That's what's exhausts me the most.

Yeah... actually I think it's totally overhyped.

And nope, can't remember much of what he said. Was still half asleep...
