I don't like it very much either (that tast of licorice... brrrrr  ) and having to drive is a valid point - still the stuff *does* help to clean up the stomach.

Whatever - did your stomach recover a bit now?

Yeah... cutie. It took me two or three times of re-watching to figure out that he's actually holding up the stuff he's carrying with his forepaws :D

Back from lunch - and now I'm stuffed too :oh: They had goose leg with potato dumpling and red cabbage today. Yummy!

Good morning :)

I was a bit MIA yesterday as my laptop suddenly told me it's main memory is full and things started to get slow and stuff. I hope it'll hold through a bit more.

Ugh... back from a little trip to hell.
Started with hairdresser this morning, grocery shopping, furniture store (my desk chair kinda broke down) - I'm soooooo done!

Yeah - it was the complete opposite of a "relaxing weekend". And on Tuesday there will be more of the same for the fresh stuff I need for the holidays. Today it was merely to get my fridge filled as I didn't have much time for grocery shopping last week.

laptop battery: Ugh - that sucks. Any chance to order a replacement one somewhere?

Good morning :)

Yeah - don't remind me about the grocery shopping that's to do for the holidays.

The battery seemingly recovered a bit iver night, but it's still no good.

It is very bad for batteries to be left discharged completely and over a long periods of time (weeks, months). Extreme cold also kills them relatively quickly. And,m it is generally recommended that you charge them to 100% and then work on battery alone till the computer shuts down, and do this like once per month... If you follow all these rules, and battery still lasts few minutes instead of few hours... then batter is almost certainly dead.

Hi flighter :)

I only pull the plug when I go from my room to the living room - which is like 20 seconds. Then I plug the laptop in again.
It's already around 4 years old so I was expecting sings on age.

Mz laptop is working almost the same way for past 2 years... I have discharged the battery fully maybe 100 or 150 times, not more than that... and it still works perfectly fine. But, it is only 2 years old. If I remember well, like 8-9 years ago, I had one laptop at work which was, at that point, like 4 years old, and battery would last like 45 minutes.
