Accessing with one of those mobile internet sticks now, but ready to head out and kick someone's rear.

Flighter, I should have hightspeed internet access by cable. Problem is, the formern residents of the flat didn't have highspeed internet - so someone has to exchange the outlet in the wall to a newer model, plus I have to get a new splitter and router. And that [include long, angry string of cuss words and insults] who's supposed to do said exchange and bring the hardware doesn't even consider it necessary to call me back to make an appointment. I try since Tuesday to call him - no chance

I'm seriously pissed at the moment and plan to hit my ISP and tell them that I don't mind HOW they do it - but I want my internet access. Yesterday!

Just coming back from that shop - they said that the outlet "belongs" to the cable providing company and nobody else is allowed to work at it - what a heap of bs!
At least the girl there promised me that she'd call the cable guy first thing Monday morning. She'll probably do it - just to keep me from showing up in the shop again and letting out another rant like the one I told her this morning.

Meh - finally reached the internet guy today. After a looooong talk (mostly annoyed from my side) he was ready to show up as soon as he can. Which is gonna be coming Saturday. His first idea was the 23rd October, somewhere in the afternoon. What the heck? Do those people think I've stolen my time somewhere and can be at home whenever I like?
Yes - I can work from home. But for that I need internet access... *El Sigh*

Ah - they promised to give broadband internet access to every househols many years ago .. in the countryside there's still pretty much nothing. But maybe that isn't as bad as it sounds in the long run.
