Yes, I am completely serious.
(But it was also the time when - the buildings around mine were surrounded by scaffolding for renovation while our part of the building was still inhabited - I wittnessed a builder pi$$ing from the scaffold of the building on the other side of the backyard ... from the thrid floor.)

Ladies, ladies... If you EVER begin to believe people are crazy at your place, you just buy a ticket, I will feed you and give you a room for one month here... For therapeutic purposes. Lol.

Re: A real pain in the txim thread...
I hope for a pandemic every day when I'm stuck in traffic going nowhere because there's too many cars on the road or some idiot has caused another accident again. It may sound insensitive, but at 7 billion of us worldwide, we're way overdue for another plague to thin the herd a bit. It's only a matter of time until nature strikes back. Our great mother does not take sides, she only protects the balance of life, and we've thrown things way out of balance. Now if only there was a plague that only targeted the greedy and corrupt....Elyris wrote:I HATE HUMANS. Dangerously stupid and completely ignorant of even the most simple facts they're nothing but a threat to this planet. How about a nice pandemic ? It's about time.

You might want to read the latest Dan Brown book titled INFERNO. It's one way to get rid of people. Plus, it's a good read.

I love Inferno! It's a great idea and it's highly doable with our technology today...

Re: A real pain in the txim and handling zombies thread...
Hmmm - I've read over the abstract and can say that I don't like that Idea all too much. It also seems to not been thought trhough well enough when it comes to the consequences.
A life without children is not worth living (so someone lkill me please). Reproduction - and I mean the reproduction, not the 'way there' - is a basic instinct of all living beings, to cut off the better part of a population from that will cause social eruptions of a scale no one can imagine. You can have a small glimpse of things that could happen when looking to Asia - especially China and India. Organized kidnapping and selective abortion (statistics say that China has already a lack of women as big as the whole number of US citizens) are a daily thing. What I want to say is: chances are very high that such a artificial infertility will cause wars all over the planet and soon due to a lack of people things will go down south quite fast.
Which is the second point: artificial infertility. First off: we are already working on that one. There are numbers in existence that show that the fertility-rate of males in europe (namely Denmark and England got some statistics there) are dropping like mad for some decades now - all those pertroleum-derivates and radiating wastes aren't so harmless after all.
Second: We already are a species with a very low genetic diversity (yes, indeed - even if it doesn't look like that), likely due to a cataclysmically bottle-neck 'happening' (look for Toba volcano) in the early stages of human evolution. An additionally narrowing of that already low diversity might just kill off the whole species due to a lack of different 'models'/'solutions' for the environmental challenges.
Yes, we might have the technology now to cause something like that. But let's be honest: we simply won't be able to do anything right. Every tiem we 'invent' something that males us think we're higher than nature it totally turns back on us. Humans are short-sighted idiots, especially those of the western civilisation and especially when it comes to evaluate the consquences of their doings.
So all in all: Maybe entertaining, but not as realistic as it might seems (and usually you can get me with entertaining nonsense).

Yet you would like a pandemic to kill off most humans since you hate them.....interesting logic.

Well, if the world as we know it is about to end, I would prefer not to know about it in advance, till about 0,001 second before it happens.

It's no really illogical - I was just referring to the book (as there seems to be a kind of 'hole').
I guess I cna state I dislike civilisation more than humans directly.

With the family. The trip is as meh as I thought it would be. I really hate being away from home like that. Having to live under weird circumstances, not able to choose how to spend my time.

@Elyris: At least it's only for two weeks - so there's an end in sight.
(That's what I'm telling myself too when the construction site I'm living on right now annoys me too much. Sometimes it even helps
)
@Xacoon: Alright. That definitely, absolutely, totally and awfully sucks in the highest degree possible!

What the frell is wrong with people?!
Just got back from a walk to train my leg. On this walk a few others were out taking a walk too and I thought that I should smile and nod as I passed by....
The only thing I got in return was this:
They looked like they wanted to kill me!

Burnt one of nails at work (Bunsen burner for you there) - molten keratin doesn't smell all too good.
